Training has been moved back to Shirley Strickland Reserve (Ardross Oval), Ardross from 5th July 2011. The Mens team are training from 6.30pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays. The Ladies team is training on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm. All welcome at BBQ after training on Thurday 8th July 2011.
Another great performance by Southerns Mens team to reach the final of the Father Kelly Cup ended in heartbreak. The guys just ran out of legs in the final against Greenwood on Sunday. The mens team performed well on the day defeating Shamrocks in the semi final before just falling short in the final by 2 points. Southern’s ladies performed admirably in they’re games, clearly showng the effect of new coach Chris Barry’s stewardship.
Congratulations to Michelle and Phil Drysdale on the arrival of your little princess Alana!! Alana Michelle Drysdale 8 pound 13 ounces or 4kg head 35.5 cm and 51cm long born at 1.30 on Tuesday the 30th November. Mum and bub doing well.
