Hi there,
I am moving with my family to Perth later this year. I have three boys aged 12, 8 and 6 who all play gaelic football and hurling. I am trying to locate a GAA club for them to join. Do you have a juvenile club and if so could you let me know where the main playing field is located.
Thank you in advance
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
None of the clubs have juvenile teams, but under the WAGAA we have coaching clinics & family days @ Tom Bateman Reserve, Canning Vale every couple of Sundays.
Give me a call on 0423 194 715 when you get down to Perth or feel free to email any questions to info@sdgfc.com you may have in the meantime.
Kind Regards,
Richie Cullinane
hey, i am interested in playing gaelic football and was just wondering where are the closest clubs from fremantle?
im 17 and have played aussie rules for the last 10 years and am looking for a change. And also when does the season start?

Hi Mitch,
The season runs from May to September with preseaon in March/April.
We start training on the 24th Jan at Shirley Striclkand Reserve, Ardross.
Come on down and have a kick.
Cheers,
Richie
Hey, I’m looking at starting playing but I’m not going to be back in Perth (staying in Denmark, down south near albany) until uni starts around the 20th of Feb or possibly earlier, and am keen to come down for a kick. What would I need to bring down to training? or just myself?
Thanks
Chris
Hi Chris,
You’re welcome to come down for training when you get back to Perth. All you need is a pair of boots. We train Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm in Shirley Strickland Oval off Canning Highway.
See you then,
Eugene.
